Public Access Defibrillation

Overview

In our observation the cost of managing a Public Access Defibrillation (PAD) program is expensive, if not prohibitive. We believe that by cooperatively developing public standards and tools for PAD implementation and management, we can reduce waste and improve efficiency while saving lives.

Criteria

• built using open standards to permit revision/modification/extension/augmentation
• server-based providing a common source for data retrieval and entry
• provision to print a properly formatted paper document from the same source
• efficient and intuitive interface with minimal learning requirements
• inviting and modern appearance

Solution

Create an interactive documentation system for the implementation and management/maintenance/revision of PAD programs.
